Article I: Name
This Club shall be known as PRO ANGLERS Club non-profit organization.
Article II: Purpose
The purpose of this club shall be to teach fishing skills and exchange
information
within the club to enable members to catch fish on all types of water.
Article III: Membership
Section 1: REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
A) To become a member of PAC, a person shall express an interest in a
serious fishing Club.
B) All members shall sign a release form, releasing the Officers from
liabilities or
personal judgments, either physical and / or involving personal property,
while participating in any Club sponsored activity. Each member shall be
adequately insured for the lifetime of membership at the members own
expense
C) Attendance is essential at meetings and outings.
1) Members are required to attend a minimum of 3 Meetings / Outings,
to be eligible for Outing awards AND the WILDCARD OUTING.
D) All members are required to serve on one Club Committee.
E) It is recommended that each member be a subscriber to In-Fisherman and/or
Fishing Facts, since both magazines will be used in lectures.
Section 2: Honorary Membership:
When a PAC member receives his first 5000 pound patch, they will become
an honorary member of PAC for life.
Article IV: Review of Membership Status
A members status shall be reviewed by the Officers for the following reasons:
Section 1: Failure to pay dues within 30 days of the due date.
Section 2: Any action which would reflect dishonor or disgrace on this
organization.
Section 3: Anyone caught in a compromising situation regarding fish weights.
will be permanently dismissed from the Club.
Section 4: Anyone not paying their dues, or not making arrangements to pay their
dues by the first meeting in March, will be dropped from the roster. Persons
dropped for this reason will not be able to rejoin until the following year,
at which time they will start over as a new member.
Section 5: Members having “special personal problems” may with the approval
of the Board, take a 1 year “leave of absence”. A member in this status
may attend club activities, but no fish registrations or outing points will
be accepted.
Arrangements for this status must be made prior to February 1 of the
year that is to be effected.
A review for any of the above reasons could result in a Member’s dismissal
from PAC.
